UPU welcomes top US customer

President of Synthetic Resources Inc., David Liefer travelled from Kansas to Northern Ireland to see UPU’s Dromore production facilities, which recently benefitted from a £1.2m investment.

Synthetic Resources has been a customer of UPU for over 18 years, supplying its market-leading ‘Farmers’ range of agricultural wrapping solutions across America, and particularly to key forage and arable producing states such as Kansas, Nebraska and Texas.

UPU, which also has a manufacturing plant in Kansas, launched an innovative new ‘over-the-edge’ net wrap called ‘Colorbale’ earlier this year.

“We place a great importance on our customer relations and very much value the partnership we have developed with Synthetic Resources over the years,” said Gary.

“David has been very active in developing the US market for our products, and we are confident that following a successful initial launch, we are well placed to expand sales of ‘Colorbale’ across the US.

“We are delighted to welcome David to our Dromore headquarters and look forward to further developing our business with Synthetic Resources in the months and years ahead.”
