US Choir to visit Rathfriland

GARDNER-WEBB University Choir will arrive in Northern Ireland on Friday March 11 for a one-week Spring tour around various venues.

Included in their busy agenda is a visit to 2nd and 3rd Rathfriland Presbyterian Church on Tuesday March 15 at 8pm in the Hamilton Hall to perform at a Ladies Visitor’s Evening arranged by the Pulse Group in the congregation.

Gardner-Webb University is a private Christian, Baptist-related University, located in Boiling Springs, Norther Carolina.

The University is dedicated to higher education that intrgrates scholarship with Christian Life and prepares its graduates to make significant contributions for God and humanity in an ever-changing global community.

The auditioned touring Concert Choir performs in churches, schools and at University functions.

They maintain a high standard of excellence, performing both sacred and secular music.

The choir has sung throughout the Carolinas, and the Southeast of America as well as in New York, Russia, England, Costa Rica and this year will include Northern Ireland.

There will be 27 students participating in the Northern Ireland tour and it is hoped that their visit to the province will make a very positive difference to individuals lives.

The talented and dedicated choir members are excited about their ministry here, therefore a warm invitation is given to all ladies in the area to go along and enjoy an evening of music and song.

Supper will be served at the end of the evening.
