US sister city exchange invite
Carrickfergus Borough Council are inviting local residents to take part in a cultural exchange programme between the borough and its sister city of Danville, Kentucky.
A resident of the borough will travel to Danville to promote cultural awareness and to explore Danville’s unique cultural practices.
Full details are available on the council website; the closing date for applications is April 11.
Meanwhile, Danville resident Georgia deAraujo has been selected to represent the US town and will spend a week in the borough in late April.
