And when he was searched they found a small amount of cannabis in a trouser pocket.

Lee Campbell (22), Castleview, Gilford, was fined £200 last Thursday at Banbridge Magistrates Court for unlawful possession of a class A drug, cocaine, on July 11 this year. He was also fined £200 for unlawful possession of cannabis.

The court heard that at 12.40am police saw a number of youths beside a car in a communal car park to the rear of a set of apartments.

Campbell was seen using a bank card to divide a white powder into three lines.

He was searched and a small amount of cannabis was found in a trouser pocket.

Campbell admitted that the substances were cocaine and cannabis.

A solicitor representing the defendant said the value of the cannabis was less than £5 and he had learned his lesson as a result of what happened.
