Tiarnan Scullion, no fixed abode, appeared via videolink from Hydebank last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates Court.

He admitted possession of the tablets, a class C drug, on February 8 this year and was given a two month custodial sentence and ordered to pay a £25 offender’s levy. A barrister for Scullion said he did not know what the tablets were but thought they were a legal high.

He explained that the defendant had got money from a personal injury claim and bought drugs with it. He also had £20 notes on him.
