Used phone while driving

AN £80 fine and three points was the penalty for using a mobile phone while driving for a Portadown man during Thursday's sitting of Craigavon Magistrates Court.

Andrew David Brisbane (32), of The Hawthorns, Portadown sent a letter to the court admitting using a mobile phone whilst driving, he also admitted failing to produce his driving licence.

Brisbane was stopped on March 4 at Brownstown Park in Portadown.

As well as the points and fine for the phone offence he was fined 20 for failing to produce his licence.
