USPCA asks for anniversary memorabilia

DURING 2012, in a year of centenaries and celebration, the Ulster Society Prevention of Cruelty to Animals will be celebrating an anniversary of its own - the scoiety will have protected the province’s animals for 175 years.

Throughout its existence the USPCA has fulfilled its remit to prevent cruelty and relieve suffering by focusing on the present and the future.

With its long and illustrious record of service 2012 seems an appropriate time for the charity, proudly the second oldest animal welfare society in the world, to reflect on and celebrate its past.

Do you have any memorabilia relating to the USPCA, certificates, photos, items of uniform?

If you do please contact David Wilson at the USPCA on 07739948512. We’d love to hear from you.
