UUP hostspeciallectures
THE Lisburn branch of the Ulster Unionist Party will be commemorating the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Ulster Covenant by hosting two lectures in the Masonic Hall in Lisburn.
On Monday March 26 at 8pm guest speaker Gordon Lucy will be presenting ‘From the Covenant to the Somme’ and on Monday April 2 at 8pm Mr David Scott from the Somme Association will give a lecture on the Battle of the Somme.
Both lectures will include material relevant to Lagan Valley and will be raising funds for the Lisburn branch of the UUP.
Doors open at 7.30pm and admission is £5 per lecture.
