Vacuum and air vending machines broken into at Cookstown service stations

Thieves in Mid Ulster have turned their attention to service station facilities, with vacuum, air and water devices broken into and money stolen.

Police revealed that several service stations in Cookstown were targeted last week [April 6].

The PSNI said that a number of similar break-ins have been reported in Lurgan and Richhill.

“We would encourage anyone who notices any suspicious activity around service stations during night time hours to contact police immediately on 101,” said Constable Michael Allen.

“If you have information in relation to any of these incidents please contact us in Craigavon on 101, quoting ref: 231 060415.”
