Valid responses from Rasharkin and Dunloy street signs

OVER a third of valid responses were received by Ballymoney Borough Council for the erection of street nameplates in a language other than English in Rasharkin and Dunloy.

During a recent Health and Environmental Services Committee meeting, members heard that agreement had been received from six streets; Carnfinton Park, Rasharkin, Rhencullen Park, Rasharkin, Rockview Park, Rasharkin, Bamford Park, Rasharkin, Hillview Park, Dunloy and Valley View, Rasharkin.

The number of valid responses and the percentage of respondents in agreement were: Carnfinton Park, Rasharkin received 21 valid responses (95% in agreement), Rhencullen Park, Rasharkin with 5 responses (100% in agreement), Rockview Park, Rasharkin with 17 responses (82% in agreement), Bamford Park, Rasharkin with 19 responses (79% in agreement), Hillview Park, Dunloy with 10 responses (90% in agreement) and Valley View, Rasharkin with 2 responses (100% in agreement).
