'˜Valuable employee' Clair on awards shortlist

An office manager from Whitehead is marking 20 years at her company after being shortlisted for a professional award.

Whitehead-born Clair Dixon has been named as a finalist in the Office Manager category of the Northern Ireland PA and Office Manager Awards, which are organised by Business First in association with Diamond Recruitment.

Clair had the honour of being personally nominated for the award by Declan Flynn, Managing Director of Belfast-based Lisney.

“I was delighted to hear that Declan had taken the time to nominate me, and it really is a huge honour to have been shortlisted for such a major award,” said Clair.

“This is my 20th anniversary with Lisney, which is a fantastic company to work for, and making this shortlist is a special way to mark my 20th year.

“I’m looking forward to attending the awards ceremony with my colleagues and will be so pleased if I’m successful. It’s hard to believe looking back that I’ve been working alongside Declan and some of our other directors for two decades, so much has changed since I started but we’ve all experienced the ups and downs together.”

Declan added: “Clair is the ‘go-to’ person in the office for so many issues, personal as well as professional. There’s no doubt she is one of Lisney’s most valuable employees.”
