Victoria pupils develop their equestrian skills
Pupils from Carrick’s Victoria Primary School have enjoyed riding lessons in Islandmagee.
The school takes pride in offering a range of extra curricular activities and one of these is the pony club, explained organiser Angela Hutchinson.
Mrs Hutchinson added: “The children learn about ponies and how to care for them then go for a riding lesson at Islandmagee Riding Centre in July.”
This year’s outing, she continued, took place in sunshine with the children enjoying the lesson and some fun games on horseback.
