The school’s success was reflected by the fact that 87 per cent of entries were awarded an A*-C grade and 99.6 per cent of entries resulted in a pass.

Pupils receiving their results in the school’s Assembly Hall told The Times of their excitement and hope for the future.

The school’s AS-Level pupils were also celebrating, with 12 pupils achieving 4 A grades – the highest results available at this level.
