Video: Big turnout for Magherafelt Straw Festival
Several hundred took part in today’s Straw Community Festival Carnival in Magherafelt.
The colourful procession made its way from Magherafelt High School on the Moneymore Road through the town centre to Meadowbank Sports Arena.
The carnival includes traditional games, arts workshops and family activities with plenty of prizes to be won.
There was a food market featuring food from local companies and the surrounding area.
