Video: Cookstown brought to a standstill by Back to the Future car

Cookstown came to a virtual standstill on Friday as the famous car from the Back to the Future film landed in the town.

The DeLorean DMC-12 car was all part of the promotion for the screening the legendary film in Cookstown to mark 30 years since its release.

Organised by Mullan’s Bar, Back to the Future at The Ritz Cinema will help to raise funds for the Lord or Lady of the Lough Charis Cancer Care competition.

This year’s Cookstown nomination is Marie Morgan from Mullan’s Bar Cookstown.

The film will be screened next Thursday, October 8 at 7.30pm.
