Fright Night at Cookstown’s old Courthouse has been rolled out especially for this Halloween and it is not recommended for those with a nervous disposition.

A spokesperson for Crumlin Road Gaol - which is arguably Northern Ireland’s number one tourist attraction - said: “This Halloween, the Old Courthouse, located on Chapel Street, Cookstown will be opening its doors from October 22 for a frightful fear fest, and is not recommended for the faint hearted!

The special event will also give visitors a chance to see inside the Old Courthouse building - but be warned to expect some scares along the way.

The tour, which will be carried out in low light conditions, comes with a warning that it is not suitable for young children and that if you are scared easily, it may not be for you either.

Strobe lighting is also used throughout.

Tickets are now on sale for the eagerly awaited Fright Night Scare Attraction - but those brave enough are being urged to book early as they’re sure to be snapped up quickly.
