Cookstown man Joe Curry celebrated his 60th birthday in style by completing a 60-mile run to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Society.
The veteran athlete endured bitter winds, snow and black ice, as he ran from Magherafelt to Cookstown, Cookstown to Omagh and back to Cooktown again.
Joe said that despite his legs almost giving way, he found the strength for a sprint finish to the line, where his family and friends awaited.
