Video: Cookstown people targeted in hilarious prank with glued down £2 coin

A Cookstown company has been pranking locals with a £2 coin glued to the footpath near a bank machine in the centre of town.

The hilarious video, which features very sneaky and sometimes embarrassing attempts to get the money off the floor, shows numerous people trying their luck with it.

One lady just didn’t want to give up, while a lad tried his hand a few times - “creeping along for that juicy £2”.

Admitting the prank was a “very juvenile”, mycookstown.com dubbed the clip ‘more money, more problems’ and said they did it because they “were a bit bored” and “just wanted to have a bit of fun with the public [and] see what happened”.
