VIDEO: Daredevil charity leap is a family affair
The memorable holiday was originally planned to celebrate Ashley having gained a 2:1 degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Ulster.
“When planning our trip Ashley asked me if I’d jump off the Stratosphere Tower with her - for those that are not aware the Stratosphere Tower is 855 foot high and is the tallest observation tower in the United States, so the request was somewhat tongue in cheek as she knows I’m not great with heights,” Drew explained.

“We chose the NI Hospice because it’s local and because we have had close friends who have had to use this fantastic charity in the past so this is our way of saying thanks for your help,” Drew added.
The McCoubreys’ sky jump has so far generated over £700 for charity; further donations can be made at www.justgiving.com/Ashley-McCoubrey/
