Pupils from Diamond Primary School, outside Cullybackey - which is celebrating its 75th anniversary - recently enjoyed a Skype session with pilot Bryan Pill, from Mission Aviation Fellowship.

It formed part of the class project entitled ‘Up, Up and Away’.

It’s a far cry from the ‘chalk and slate’ education of Diamond’s formative days!

The school’s anniversary celebrations continue with a special service of thanksgiving in First Ahoghill Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, October 23, at 7pm.
