VIDEO - Forest Service tree felling in Ballymoney
The Forest Service has been felling trees in the Conagher woods outside Ballymoney.
One local reader sent us this video of one swathe of land where the trees were cut down.
A Forest Service spokesman said: “The tree felling is part of normal harvesting operations associated with mature forest plantations.
“The wood will be used by the local sawmilling sector and the felled area will be regenerated using a variety of tree species including native broadleaved trees grown from local seed sources.”
