In previous years thousands of people from surrounding towns and further afield flocked to the south Derry town to enjoy what is regarded as one of the Council’s flagship events.

Organisers are hoping to exceed last year’s 16,500 visitor numbers, which they estimated to have generated £288,750 for the local economy.

As an incentive to visitors, the Council has arranged free car parking in the pay and display car parks until Sunday.
