Video: Linda Dillon says she will miss serving on Mid Ulster Council
Former Chairperson of Mid Ulster Council Linda Dillon said she is delighted to be part of the Sinn Féin Assembly team.
She was elected this afternoon for Mid Ulster constituency at the count in Ballymena, polling 5833 first preference votes, along with party colleagues Ian Milne and Michelle O’Neill.
“It is very big jump for me,” she said. “I’m very proud to have taken the seat vacated by Martin (McGuinness) and look forward to joining the Assembly team.”
