Dr Barry began his tour on Sunday by preaching at First Carrickfergus Presbyterian Church, which he attended in his childhood.

Later that afternoon, he re-dedicated a burning bush sculpture at Joymount Presbyterian in Carrick and preached at Ballynure Presbyterian’s harvest service in the evening.

He also met with pupils at Kilcoan primary School in Islandmagee on Tuesday.
