Benjamin Robinson, a 14-year old pupil at Carrick Grammar, died in 2011 after suffering a double concussion during a schools rugby match.

Since Benjamin’s death, his family have been active in raising awareness of the dangers associated with concussion as part of the ‘Recognise and Remove’ campaign.

The latest strand of the campaign makes use of social media to spread the word, with each participant uploading the ‘Concussion - recognise and remove’ message before nominating another club or individual to do the same.

Starting off the campaign was Ben’s father, Peter, followed by Carrick Ladies Hockey Club and Carrick Ladies Rugby Club.
