Video: Opening day of Lurgan market
Lurgan market was reinstated today (Thursday) with shoppers flocking to the plaza to assess the wares of the town’s newest traders.
12 new stall holders were plying their trade with items for sale ranging from gluten-free chocolate to personalised tote bags.
Three of the town’s long-established market traders, selling fish, eggs and flowers, made the total number of stalls up to 15.
The market attracted sizeable footfall during its five-hour duration and will return every Thursday between 9am and 2pm supported by Craigavon Borough Council.
