Video: Strike action in Cookstown today ‘is just the beginning’
Dozens of people took to the streets of Mid Ulster today to strike against government imposed public sector cuts and job losses.
Rallies in support of staff in schools, healthcare, transport and civil services were held in Cookstown, Dungannon and Magherafelt.
Pleased with the turnout at all of these events, Harry Hutchinson from Mid Ulster Trade Union Council, said the day of industrial action is just the beginning.
