VIDEO: Sunnylands planting scheme
Members of a local youth group have taken part in a community garden planting scheme in Sunnylands.
The garden, based at Sunnylands Community Centre, is a joint project between Carrickfergus Borough Council and young people from Carrick Community Forum.
Alison Diver, Natural Communities Outreach Officer with the local authority, explained: “We’re planting flowers, fruit, veg and herbs and the idea is that anyone in the community can add to the garden at any point.”
