VIDEO: Toys go retro at Mid-Antrim Museum

Set aside the stress of shopping for the latest must have gadgets and step back in time to enjoy a festive exhibition exploring the world of toys that entertained children generations past.

Inspired by the festive season, Mid-Antrim Museum at The Braid has created an exhibition celebrating vintage toys from the 1950s on loan from a local collector.

‘No Batteries Required’ features toys which will attract and entice children as well as promote nostalgia amongst the older generation.

Kevin Timoney is a Ballymena toy enthusiast who has been avidly collecting Tri-Ang and MOBO toys for over 20 years. The exhibition contains a classic Tri-Ang peddle car and tractors as well as charming MOBO Bronco horses.
