Video: Two taken to hospital following two-vehicle crash in Cookstown

The drivers of two cars that collided outside Cookstown have been taken to Antrim Area Hospital to be checked over following the crash.

Police were called to the scene of the two-vehicle RTC at 5.10pm on Friday evening at the junction of Coagh Road and Flagpole Road.

It is understood that both drivers were breath tested at the scene, with negative results.

The road was closed at the scene of the crash between a silver and a dark grey car - which was turned over on its side - and police diversions were in place.

It is believed that just two people were involved, and although said to be conscious following the smash, the extent of their injuries remains unclear.
