Vintage car display at Brownlow House

Lurgan Castle Classic Club are holding their Annual Rally and Autojumble on Saturday, June 8 from 10am.

The MG Car Club, Manx Norton motor bikes, Cobra Cars - and weather permitting Chitty Chitty Bang Bang - and the Buick are all expected to be on display.

See these and other fine examples of old restored cars, motorcycles and tractors and modern classics. Stationary working engines and scaled versions will be there. It is also rumoured that a model ‘T’ will also be making an appearance.

The restaurant will be serving meals, refreshments and snacks in the historic house.

Admission for adults is £4 and children go free.

Last year participants and spectators raised £200 through the club’s annual raffle for the Alzheimer’s Association.

At the Lurgan Castle Classic Club’s last meeting the club chairman, Tom Matthews paid tribute to John Murtagh who passed away in April. He spoke of Mr Murtagh’s keen support of the classic club and how he will be greatly missed.
