Vision4kids talk at Bottear Mission Hall

A meeting showing the importance of Vision4kids will be held on Sunday evening at Bottear Mission Hall, Lurganville Road Moira, at 8pm.

Since 2012 Vision4kids have been operating in Kenya and support Children’s worker Samson Kange in the small village of Kiambururu close to Nairobi.

Their main focus is outreach among the boys and girls sharing the gospel through Children’s meetings, Sunday schools, assemblies,
small groups and Bible distribution.

The group works with local Primary schools supporting feeding programme for pupils as well as school maintenance and repairs which includes ensuring a supply of clean drinking water.

Over the past two years the team have also established child sponsorship and medical screening programmes. Last April, a team of 10 from Northern Ireland visited the village helping
repair and transform school building and conduct Bible clubs.

Another mission trip is planned for 2016.

The team at Vision4kids are all volunteers and are thankful for gifts and those raising funds for the work.

The charity is extremely thankful to the LongWayHome cycling team who cycled round the coast of Northern Ireland (365 miles) and raised a massive £27,000 during their 2014 endurance event which will be used to purchase land in Kiambururu where a multipurpose outreach centre will be constructed.
