Visit to the battlefields
As part of Craigavon Borough Council’s World War One commemorations, 13 young people from across the borough recently visited the Somme battlefields in France to learn more about the history of the Great War.
Organised by Council in conjunction with Tides Training, the 15-17 year olds visited the sites of the Northern Salient and Passchendale.
