Feargal O’Keefe, regional manager at FCA Northern Ireland, said:“Foster carers come from all walks of life and this diversity is essential in being able to match children and young people to an environment in which they will feel comfortable and thrive.

“What they have in common is the energy and commitment to make a difference to the lives of those in their care.”

FCA provides ongoing training and development for its foster carers.

It also provides access to a local support team of social workers, therapists and education specialists to help its network of families.
