Coming to terms with the diagnosis that your child has an incurable illness is devastating for parents and they need support. Northern Ireland Children’s

Hospice can give them that support. They know that caring for a sick child can be an exhausting and lonely experience for families and they are there to help in any way they can. They can help with nursing the sick child and can provide emotional support the whole family.

Jenay Doyle, Community Fundraiser for Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice said; “We are once again calling on the local Lisburn community to support our services by giving up a few hours of their time to help us raise much needed funds for our charity,” she said.

“Each year the Children’s Hospice has to raise £2.5million from voluntary donations to ensure the continuation of our services. This is only possible because of the support of the local communities across Northern Ireland, like the Lisburn community who have helped us grow our service through their fundraising efforts and by giving so generously through donations and legacies,”
