Volunteers praise
MOYLE Council has given the thumbs-up to volunteers.
Reference was made to the statement by Volunteer Now and following discussion, Councillor Robert McIlroy (DUP) proposed, seconded by Councillor Sandra Hunter (Ulster Unionist) and resolved ‘That the Council endorse the statement from Volunteer Now; That Moyle District Council values the positive contribution made by volunteers to creating a vibrant community life and recognises such civic engagement empowers individuals and develops communities.’
