Volunteers wanted for Enagh Lough clean-up

Enagh Youth Forum will be carrying out a clean up of Enagh Lough on Sunday, January 17 from 2pm to 4pm and is asking volunteers from Maydown and Strathfoyle to come along.

The volunteers will assemble at Judges Road at 2pm.

Paul Hughes of the Forum said: “I would encourage everyone to come out and support this winter clean up of Enagh Lough.

“This is an area of great natural beauty and it is everyones responsibility to help look after it.

“We are also continuing to lobby Council to invest in the area by providing much needed changing facilities for the many schools, colleges and youth groups that utilise the area for canoeing, kayaking and outdoor learning”.
