Wades promoting road safety

A Coleraine funeral director has teamed up with national road safety charity, ‘Brake’, to encourage schools to help make children more aware of road safety.

Hugh Wade and Son donated high visibility reflective badges to pupils at Killowen, St John’s, St Malachys, Harpur’s Hill, Portstewart and St Colum’s primary school.

“We are helping to raise awareness of the importance of being visible on the road during dark nights and mornings,” said Alison Wade from Wades Funeral Home.

“With the clocks changing, darker mornings and evenings mean that children need to take extra care on their journeys to and from school.”
