Waiting limits to be relaxed
PARKING restrictions in town centre side streets are to be relaxed, it has been announced.
Roads Service has said it intends to introduce limited waiting of two hours in a number of streets in Lurgan.
They are: Windsor Avenue; Castle Lane; William Street; Carnegie Street; Union Street; Sloan Street; and Market Street.
Currently, motorists can only park in these areas for one hour.
DUP Alderman Stephen Moutray welcomed the move, pointing out that traders have lobbied for it for a long time.
