Walk boost for Bushmills?

COUNCILLORS say plans for a walk way between the Millennium Riverside Park and the Salmon Leap in Bushmills would be a major boost for the area.

A site meeting involving Bushmills DUP councillor Robert McIlroy and Moyle Council officials heard it would require access through the Bush Salmon Station and Moyle Council contacted them.

Now Council official Kevin McGarry says the Council has received a “very positive response” from the Salmon Station and he said if the plans are successful it will be a “fabulous walk” and a “great asset for the area”.

Council Chairperson, Price McConaghy (Independent), said the idea of such a walk has been discussed for years and DUP councillor Robert McIlroy said: “It would be a very good additional asset to Bushmills”
