‘Walk for Hope’ around two bridges

A LONDONDERRY charity - dedicated to tackling self-harm and suicide - is holding a “Walk for Hope” around the two bridges this Saturday, September 10, which is “World Suicide Prevention Day.”

The walk - organised by ZEST - begins at 11am starting at the quay at Sainsbury’s and will continue along a 10K route of the two bridges although anyone wanting to do a shorter route can cut across the ‘Peace Bridge.’

ZEST delivers a range of specialist services to children, young people and adults who self-harm or have attempted suicide or individuals who have been affected by the impact of self-harm or suicide, in particular friends and family, including counselling, mentoring and befriending support, information, education and awareness training.
