The headstones have shown signs of weathering and moss growth and on Saturday the members split up into teams and covered the Town Cemeteries, Ahoghill, Portglenone and Newtowncrommelin.

They have appealed to any members of the public who may know of any World War One era Commonwealth War Graves that they may have missed to contact the Services’ Club in Ballymena and leave a message for the Friends of The Somme Society.
