Ward plans to take to streets
Independent Councillor Dessie Ward has invited everyone to join him in the town this Saturday April 24 at 12 noon to sign letters in support of the proposals to Environment Minister Edwin Poots.
Councillor Ward said, "I will be setting up a stall at the Cut asking people to sign pre-prepared letters to Edwin Poots in support of the Tesco application.
"Anyone who wants to join me is more than welcome. I hope to get 1,000 letters signed. Need your help folks."
