SlurryKat, has helped to boost one of the biggest student clubs at Harper Adams University in Shropshire.

Student club, Harper Ireland - based at Harper Adams University - attracts past and present students from all courses at the university. SlurryKat and sister company SK Trailers have kindly donated £1,200 to the club, which has been spent on new branded clothing and helping to run various events around the country.

Garth Cairns, CEO at the SlurryKat Group, said: “We’re really pleased to have sponsored Harper Ireland this year. It will really go a long way for the young agricultural trainees and their careers.”

Harper Ireland chairman, 19-year-old agricultural engineering student David Thornton from County Kildare, said: “As Harper Ireland is one of the biggest clubs at Harper Adams it takes a lot of resources to keep it going.”

Garth Cairns from SlurryKat met with Harper Ireland members at the 2013 Balmoral Show, including former club chairman, Niall Morrow from Belfast.
