Rocha did not appear in court and the case went ahead last Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates Court.

A prosecutor said that at 12.05am police saw the defendant standing on the pavement at Woodhouse Street with his face towards a wall.

He was unfastening the belt of his jeans.

Police believed he was about to urinate and they warned him.

He walked on and again he was seen facing a wall.

When police arrived at the scene they saw urine. The area was busy.

Rocha had been given an opportunity to leave the area but blatantly ignored that warning.

District Judge, Mrs Bernie Kelly, convicted the defendant and issued an arrest warrant to have him brought before the court for sentencing.
