Warning as cars crash during hail storm
Three cars were in a crash on the M1 countrybound close to Portadown this evening after a sharp, sudden hail storm.
Police issued a warning to motorists to drive with ‘extreme caution’ due to icy conditions between junctions 11 and 13 in both directions.
It is not known at this stage if anyone was hurt.
Police said the motorway is passable with care.
