Warning over prescription drugs

A quantity of prescription drugs have been mislaid in the vicinity of the Ballymena and Kells area and police are warning the public not to take these tablets if found.

The tablets are believed to be codeine phosphate and were mislaid on Tuesday, July 3.

The tablets are dangerous to health if taken without being prescribed. Side effects include vomiting and diarrhoea.

Anyone that finds or has these tablets are asked to hand them in to their nearest Police station as soon as possible.
