Was abusive at band parade: Court

A member of a band attending a parade in Armoy on June 26 was said to have become abusive and aggressive to police, North Antrim Magistrates Court was told last Wednesday.

David James Bond, of Castle Park, Limavady, pleaded guilty to the charge by letter. He was fined 200.

The court was told that police on duty at Carrowreagh Road in the village were speaking to a bus driver when defendant approached. He became aggressive and used bad language, the court heard.
