Cairns became agitated and when he was asked to provide his details he took an aggressive tone towards police.

He was asked again to provide his details but refused. He called an officer ‘a f—king w—ker’ and was cautioned for disorderly behaviour.

A solicitor representing Cairns said he had alcohol on board.

He explained that the police were there in relation to another matter and when Cairns was asked for his details he thought there was no requirement because he was not involved in anything.
