Was using mobile phone while driving

Three penalty points were imposed on a 27-year-old man last Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for using a mobile phone while driving.

Julean Lion Daniel, 
Victoria Street, Lurgan, was also fined £50 for the offence and ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.

As well he was fined £50 for having a defective brake 
light.

The court heard that at 2.30pm on June 18 police saw a car being driven along 
William Street in Lurgan.

The driver, who was the 
defendant, was talking into a mobile phone and the brake light was not working.
